COMMUNITY COLLABORATION 

Students collaborate with local business Johnny's Burritos in the creation of new cartoon characters based on their iconic menu items. 

In October 2018, Students participated in the Imperial Valley Film Festival and submitted their animated short film "Unwrap the Memories." They were also able to watch their film on the big screen and answer questions about their creative process with other professional film makers. 

Aileen Moreno (Graduated 2019) took 1st place in the Animation/Storytelling category for  "One-Eyed Outcast," at the ICOE Imperial County Student Film Festival at IVC in May 2018.
