Hello! My name is Mr. Tozy, and I’m proud to be part of the College Prep Middle School community. I grew up in San Diego and graduated from Valhalla High School and San Diego State University before continuing my journey into teaching and coaching. Over the years, I’ve taught both middle school and high school math and built strong connections with students through academics, athletics, and mentorship.
Sports have always been a big part of my life. I’ve coached boys’ and girls’ volleyball as well as boys’ basketball at the freshman, junior varsity, and varsity levels. Coaching has shaped the way I approach challenges and has given me a deep appreciation for teamwork, discipline, and perseverance.
Outside of school, I’m a huge sports fan. My favorite teams are the Los Angeles Lakers, Juventus, the SDSU Aztecs, and Italy’s national soccer team. I also enjoy spending time with my family, listening to music, and finding any excuse to enjoy good chocolate.
I’m excited to bring my passions for teaching, coaching, and community to CPMS and look forward to continuing to grow alongside my students and colleagues!
