Description
PlayPosit is an interactive web-based video platform that allows instructors to embed various interactions, such as quiz-type questions, into videos from Youtube, Vimeo, or mp4 video files. Turn passive viewing into active learning. PlayPosit can be used asynchronously or synchronously via Zoom or in-person. More than video, PlayPosit allows you to create interactive digital worksheets, readings, and syllabus annotation. Students can submit video demonstrations and even create interactive video activities/presentations. Create playlists to create a learning path, and more.

Brainstorm ways to use the tool that fit with your instructional strategies
Show you how to caption your own videos via Zoom or in YouTube. Or check existing videos for correct captioning (i.e. YouTube Videos)
Book appointments to record videos using equipment in our FIT Studio.
We can also provide time with our student assistants for feedback and testing.
Troubleshoot as needed.

Comfortable creating videos or locating videos in YouTube or Vimeo.
Familiar with setting up external tools in Canvas Assignments
Organize learning paths in your course using Canvas Modules.
Enjoy exploring different features in a tool, and testing different uses.
Enjoy attending webinars or watching recorded webinars (hosted by PlayPosit) to explore different ways to use the tool.
