Welcome!

The LBMS Library is open each school day from 7:45 am - 4:00 pm. Students are welcome any time to check out books, read, or work on research projects/class work with their teacher's permission. Students are permitted to check out two books and keep them for two weeks. If more time with a book is needed, students may renew any book for an additional two weeks. All books are checked out with a school ID.

We do not charge a late fee for books returned past the due date. However, if a book is lost or damaged, the student will need to pay for the book to be replaced. The fine will vary depending on the cost of the book. These fines can be paid for online by using the link. Before paying online, you'll need to contact the library to find out the amount of the fine. Students may also pay in person with cash or a check made out to LBMS.

Students also have access to Sora, our ebook reading platform. If there are any questions on how to use Sora, check out the Sora page or ask Mrs. Rodarte.

Happy reading!

Lost your school ID?

Students are not required to wear their school ID, but they need to make sure they have it everyday. IDs are needed for the bus, breakfast & lunch, and to check out library books. Replacement IDs can be purchased for $3 in the library. The $3 can be paid online by using the link below or the student may pay in person with cash or a check made out to LBMS.

COVID-19 Response

We are dedicated to the safety of all of our LBMS families during these uncertain times. In addition to all BISD safety precautions, there will be a limited maximum capacity in the library to allow for social distancing. Please contact Mrs. Rodarte with questions or for a full copy of the LBMS Library COVID-19 Safety Plan.
