Monique Clarivel Llamis is a fourth year pre-service teacher at Xavier University - Ateneo de Cagayan, and currently taking up Bachelor of Elementary Education. She is pursuing this field with the inspiration and influence from her mom who is also an elementary school teacher.
From a young age, she has been exposed to teaching as she also implements summer teaching in their neighborhood with the goals of teaching her cousins and other younger kids. She finds joy when she's able to help improve the skills and learnings of those kids.
In terms of her academic, she always try to give her outmost best, focus, hard work, creativity, and time. With her perseverance, she became part of her school's deans lister from year 2020 up to present. One of her extra-curricular activity is being part of Teaching Education Student Leaders Assembly (TESLA TWO) which aims to capacitate Education students with leadership skills grounded on Ignatian Leadership.
Since 2019 up to present, she is one of the scholarship grantee of ISKOLAR sa DAKBAYAN (ISDA) and also part of the Department of Events and Management Committee of ISKOLAR sa DAKBAYAN (ISDA) Barangay Bulua Association.
After graduation, her future plans includes taking and passing the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET). Then she'll take her masters and apply for a teaching job at the same time.
