Stage 1: Finish up to Ideate and have a Prototype design/idea -24 June
Stage 2: Prototype done, tested and evaluated with input for improvement - Last week of term 3
Project scope (What is the possible issue or main idea for our project?)
Explore the issue (What is the possible issue? Why is it an issue? When is it an issue? Who is affected by this issue and why? What solutions are already available? Why are they not effective?)
Complete planning page
Find a user for our possible solution for our issue (Who are they? Find out how they are being affected and what they want/need as a solution? We will want to interview a number of the users)
Whats the story? (dig a little deeper)
Find out who the stakeholders are (who is affected directly or indirectly by our solution? What do they want? People who are directly or indirectly impacted by our project)
Make observations about the problem (e.g Prior Knowledge, valid data)
Complete user story statement
Redefine the issue
Identify the community issue
Complete research (Interviews, surveys, books, research and development ideas)
Brainstorm ideas (Draw at least 3 different solutions for our user and capture feedback, comments and reactions. Model, stretch, mock up your ideas. Show it to our client and stakeholders)
Ideate a new solution
Think about key factors (Things to think about before we make our solution: Stakeholders, resources, issue)
Complete the initial brief (The basics of what we are making. Conceptual statement, constraints, specifications)
Complete a sketch or blueprint of our idea
Complete final briefing
Production of our product (Make the final solution, modify it)
Demonstrate the product (Show our final outcome to our stakeholders and client)
Evaluation (Get feedback, evaluate, make changes if necessary and document the changes)
