Your prototype was forwarded to me by David Ward for comment. As I don’t have any context in terms of whose designing it or the target market eg age range of users, I can only broadly comment. If I’m right, the app looks like it’s geared towards 1) having fun 2) getting used to using apps and 3) supporting ‘organisational skills’ which is generally a secondary challenge for individuals with dyslexic characteristics - so fantastic job there.
I would suggest adding an additional tab for ‘new word of the day’ and providing images associated with the word or letters in order to foster spelling and perhaps a tab for practicing ‘spelling’ and easily accessing the ‘thesaurus’.
Also in the settings I would consider adding ‘accessories’ to be able to select ‘voice on’ to assist with reading words or text in the app.
Best of luck with developing your prototype. It’s looking great.
