Brief Description: Today, we will learn about the Blue Ridge Mountains using fun activities on the computer. We'll make a list of what we know and what we want to learn. Then, we'll explore the mountains online to find out more. After that, we'll make a video to tell others what we discovered. It's all on the computer, and it will be a blast!

Step 3:
1. Open your KWL chart on the computer.

3. In the "W" section (which means "What I Want to Know"), write a question for each part: Plants, Animals, Climate, and Other Questions.
4. Think about plants, animals, weather, and anything else you're curious about, and write questions.
5. Enjoy your adventure and write your questions!
Step 4:
We're going on a make-believe trip to the Blue Ridge Mountains on the computer.
You will find out things about where the mountains are, what's living there like plants and animals, what the weather is like, what people do there, and exciting stories.
In your chart's "L" section, create a special video. Share at least 3 facts about the Blue Ridge Mountains. You will need to provide at least 1 fact for each category: geographic location, natural resources, wildlife, climate. You can also provide facts for: industry, culture, history.
You can choose from topics like where the mountains are, the plants and animals, the weather, what people do, their stories, or anything else you like.
