Dr. Beeson is the Associate Chief Medical Officer for Global Medical Response, the largest medical transportation company in the United States. He Vice Provost over Academic Partnerships and Initiatives for University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth and serves as the Medical Director for Tarrant County College District’s Health Services Centers and EMS Educational Programs. Jeff has 30 years of experience working in Public Safety and Population Health starting his career as an Emergency Medical Technician working in rural Texas and progressed to become a Paramedic and Registered Nurse working in Emergency Departments and with Air Medical Flight programs across Texas. He completed his medical training at TCOM and his Emergency Medicine Residency at Parkland in Dallas. He is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine and Emergency Medical Services through the American Board of Emergency Medicine.

Lacy Hensley has worked in the field of domestic violence for over 20 years. She received her bachelor's degree in Social Work from Baylor University. While attending Baylor, she began working at the local domestic violence shelter, the Family Abuse Center, as a Crisis Hotline Advocate and Children's Advocate. After graduating she went on to work full-time as their Legal Advocate acting as the liaison between law enforcement and the shelter.
Lacy graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) with her Master of Arts in Criminology & Criminal Justice and Master of Science in Social Work in 2005 & 2006.
She relocated to the DFW area in 2005 to accept a position as a Victim Assistance Counselor with the Arlington Police Department. She continued with the department for 5 years. During her tenure at APD, she took a leave of absence to complete an internship in Washington, D.C. with the Public Policy team at the National Network to End Domestic Violence.
In 2016, Lacy joined One Safe Place as the Director of Intake & Client Services. While at One Safe Place. She is currently an adjunct with the Criminology & Criminal Justice Department at Texas Christian University and Tarleton State University. She has also served as an adjunct with the University of Texas at Arlington.
Lacy is a wife and mom to two precious boys, Jackson & Joshua.
Tarrant County Public Health Department
Hope Adams is the Health Educator for Tarrant County Public Health's Disease, Surveillance and Outreach Department. Hope grew up in Denver, Colorado. She has a master’s degree in Public Health from the Colorado School of Public Health, focused on Community Health Education. Before moving to Texas, she worked in the Emergency Preparedness division of LA County Department of Public Health.
Hope is currently developing a new anti-HIV stigma education program. Many of her friends in the 1990s died from complications related to AIDS, and she has been passionate about HIV prevention ever since. Hope is a strong advocate for STD-prevention and sexual health and is excited to speak to you about protecting your own sexual health.

Mr Monson has taught Dave Ramesy's Financial Peace University (FPU) to adults at his Church for 12 years to help them become debt free, save money, & invest. He also taught a Finance "Future Millionairs Club" 2 semesters at TCC, before Covid.
Mr. Monson has been married for 25 year and is a father of 3 children, one who went to TCC and another currently attending. He paid off all their debts including the house by Sept/2010. They are DEBT FREEEEE! ;).

Gayle Wilkins is a 1980 graduate of Baylor’s School of Nursing and earned her MSN in Nursing Education in 2009 from the University of New Mexico (online program).
She has spent the majority of her career in oncology and has been an oncology certified nurse since 1995. She has been with Texas Health for over 20 years and is also an adjunct faculty at TCU’s Harris College of Nursing and teaches the oncology elective.
Ms. Wilkins’ official title is Oncology Nurse Navigator at Texas Health Harris Methodist Fort Worth. She sees patients newly diagnosed with cancer and those facing new metastatic disease at the hospital.

Milette Siler has been involved with Culinary Medicine since 2014, when a collaboration between Moncrief Cancer Institute and Texas Christian University first brought the program to North Texas. Since 2018, she has served on the advisory board for the Goldring Center for Culinary Medicine Tulane University Medical School. Her career is focused upon advancing Culinary Medicine in both the professional student, and community setting. In the professional student arena, Milette serves as lead dietetic instructor for UT Southwestern’s medical school, bringing enhanced nutrition education to medical students, residents, and other health professionals. In 2019, Milette was awarded a UT Systems Education Innovation Award in recognition for her efforts. She also enjoys her continued partnership with Texas Christian University, working as a preceptor collaborating with dietetic interns to bring nutrition education to TCOMM students at UNT Health Science Center. In the community setting, Milette teaches hands-on cooking classes for cancer survivor patients served at Moncrief Cancer Institute. Additionally, she networks with local food pantries and other organizations to bring Culinary Medicine to underserved populations in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Dr. Rahman provides a full range of family medicine and specifically enjoys obesity medicine and management, especially with lifestyle modifications, intermittent fasting, nutrition and exercise. She is also interested in diabetes management, women’s health and primary preventive care. In her free time, Dr. Rahman loves traveling to anywhere that has a beach. She is bilingual and enjoys learning other languages. Dr. Rahman is a self-proclaimed foodie and loves learning about different cultures through food, especially Asian cuisine. Some of her other interests include taking photographs and vlogging, listening to music, watching movies, and spending time with family and friends. Dr. Rahman enjoys medical mission work and has traveled to Costa Rica and Guatemala to provide medical aid to the underserved. In the future, she plans to travel to other areas, such as Latin American and South Asia.

Sheri Wagner has been employed with the Baylor Scott & White All Saints Medical Center for 20 years. She is currently the Manager of Behavioral Health Services and Volunteer Services. In addition to her managerial duties of 24/7 department operational oversight, she also performs behavioral health assessments on patients throughout the hospital as requested via physician consult orders. Sheri is a seasoned clinician and is often called upon within the facility, as well as within the Baylor Scott & White system, for her expertise and knowledge in the behavioral health field and entity and state regulatory requirements and laws.
Sheri is skillful in crisis assessment and management. She receives yearly CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) renewal training for the de-escalation and management of aggressive behaviors. In addition, she has also received CISM (Crisis Incident Stress Management) training and has participated in several employee and community CISM debriefings for those who’ve experienced significant and traumatic events.
After receiving a Bachelor of Science degree from Arlington Baptist College, Sheri attended the University of Texas at Arlington. It was there she received a Master of Science in Social Work degree. She has been a Texas Licensed Master Social Worker for 20 years. She received independent practice recognition in 2007. Currently, Sheri is pursuing an MBA at Tarleton State University and has completed 12 hours. Sheri is married and has two boys (and three cats).

Ms. Green is a public health social worker with over a decade of experience providing public health programmatic work across North Texas. She earned her graduate degree in social work from the University of Texas Arlington in 2006 with a focus on mental health. Since then, Ms. Green has worked tirelessly with at-risk and high-risk individuals on public health issues like substance abuse, HIV/STD, mental illness, and homelessness. With this experience, she has become certified by the Texas Department of State Health Services as a Community Health Worker Instructor (CHWI) to develop and implement train-the-trainer workshops on various women's health issues and violence prevention strategies. Her overarching passion is shedding light on taboo public health issues while empowering those that are too often forgotten.

As a Community Health Outreach Specialist at Texas Health Resources, Zelmy Allen is diligent and committed to providing services of Sexual Assault prevention and awareness in the DFW area. She obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Social Science with a concentration in Sociology and a minor in Spanish from the University of North Texas. She began her public service career as advocate for abused children at the Department of Family and Protective Services. Later on she took her passion for helping North Texas families and youth to Head Start, where she worked as a Family Advocate. In her experience as a Family Advocate and a Family Based Safety Service Case worker for CPS she has witnessed the effects of abuse at an individual and community level. Her professional interests focus on children, adolescent and women’s health. Zelmy is Certified in Public Health and a Certified Community Health Worker Instructor with the State of Texas. She is currently working to earn a master’s degree in Public Health. She hopes to continue to provide prevention and health programs that will positively impact families and communities.

Kymberly O’Neal is a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner at the Collins Family Planning Clinic in Fort Worth, Texas where she provides primary and gynecological care for individuals of reproductive and post-menopausal ages. Her daily work includes annual well woman exams, STI screenings and treatment, pap smears, birth control counseling and prescribing, IUD and Nexplanon insertions and removals, HIV PrEP, menopausal counseling and management, and Telehealth consultations.
Kymberly earned her BSN from Washburn University in 2009, and her MSN in the Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner program from Texas Women’s University in 2019. During her MSN program, Kymberly completed most of her clinical rotations at multiple Parkland Women’s Health Clinics in the DFW area.
Prior to her role as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner, Kymberly worked as a registered nurse for over 10 years in multiple specialties including pediatrics, newborn nursery, postpartum, and women’s health medical/surgical.

She is currently completing her Dietetic Internship at Texas A & M AgriLife Extension. She is passionate about nutrition and a strong advocate for food security. Jessica Wiklund, MS, RD, LD is a Registered Dietitian based in Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas, who has passion for helping others achieve optimal health through proper nutrition. Jessica graduated from Texas Tech University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences and Dietetics. Shortly after completing her undergraduate degree, she returned to the DFW metroplex to continue her education and training. In 2019, she completed a Dietetic Internship and graduated with a Master of Science in Nutrition from Texas Woman’s University.
Jessica currently works at Baylor All Saints Medical Center in Fort Worth, Texas as an Outpatient Dietitian and at Trinity Bariatric Institute in Keller, Texas as a Bariatric Dietitian. Between the two settings, she counsels patients on nutrition therapy for a variety of disease states, including diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, fatty liver disease, obesity and weight management, and many others.

Ben Smith, Program Coordinator, has been on the Watch UR BAC team since 2016. He has 28 years of experience as a law enforcement officer with the City of Bryan and was recognized by Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) for his DWI enforcement efforts. Ben has a Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Instructor certification. After retiring from the department, he joined MADD as Victim Service Specialist and also educated the public on the impact and dangers of impaired driving. While advocating for crash victims, he developed a passion for alcohol and drug education for adolescents and adults. His Watch UR BAC team has also developed a Vaping Awareness program for youth and adults. He attended Texas A&M University.

Mr. Sanderson has been a Paramedic with CareFlite for 10 years based out of Hill and Johnson County. Two years ago he accepted a position as a field supervisor in their Hill, Johnson, and Tarrant County districts.

Dr. Melissa Evans is a professor and chair of the Kinesiology department on the Southeast campus. She also serves as the coordinator of the Southeast campus faculty and staff wellness program and as an advisor to the Kinesiology Student Organization. Prior to coming to the Southeast campus, Dr. Evans taught at UTA and Gainesville High School. She also coached at UNT and has worked as a personal trainer and a health educator.

Tolya Washington is the Site Supervisor for Catholic Charities Stay the Course Program for the South and SE campus. Tolya has worked in Social Services for 13 years as she loves to provide services to those in need and encourage others to believe they can have a bigger brighter future. Tolya has been an employee with Catholic Charities since 2013 and joined the Stay the Course Program in 2015. Tolya served as a Navigator on TCC NW campus where she worked with students to help them persist through college. In 2018, Tolya was promoted as one of the Site Supervisors for the program.
During Fall Semester 2018, the Stay the Course Program expanded its services to operate on all five TCC campuses. Currently, the Stay the Course Program staff consists of 3 Site Supervisors and 17 Navigators who work closely with the students to help them navigate challenges and obstacles that often get in their way of academic success.

Angela Hall is a registered nurse with over 32 years of experience. She earned her Bachelor of Science, Nursing at the University of North Dakota in 1987. She has worked in numerous healthcare settings including medical-surgical, orthopedic and oncology hospital units, hospice, long-term care, home health, and school nursing. She has worked in an educational setting since 1999 and has been with TCC Trinity River Health Services since 2012. She is committed to public health nursing, with a specific interest in supporting students enrolled at institutions of higher education. She knew from the age of 4 years old that she wanted to be a nurse. When asked what she enjoys most about being a nurse, she will tell you it is supporting people as they seek their own definition of health and wellness. Angela will also tell you that nursing is one of the most respected professions, and it is constantly evolving so there is no opportunity for boredom.
Unbound Fort Worth
Larinda Smith is the Director of Community Outreach for Unbound Fort Worth. In her role with Unbound, Larinda coordinates human trafficking presentations in the community and trainings for professionals who work with vulnerable populations. These presentations and trainings bring awareness of human trafficking, its prevelence in our community, red-flags to identify potential victims, and how to respond when a victim has been identified. Larinda has personally witnessed the impact training has provided in identifying victims, because as more individuals are empowered with knowledge, more victims are being identified.
