Understand the importance of cervical cancer screening and frequency of pap smear collection.
Be able to explain how to perform self breast exams at home and frequency of provider breast exams.
Know the recommendations for screening mammograms based on age and family history.
Understand the importance of routine STI screenings and what diseases are common in the DFW area.
Have knowledge of safe sex practices to prevent STIs and unwanted pregnancies.
