Title: NIHR Developing Research Leaders Programme for AHPs - My experience as an ODP
Overview: The Developing Research Leader (DRL) Programme is a three-year secondment with the NIHR (National Institute of Health Research) offering allied health professionals the opportunity to shape and embed a research culture within their organisation. The programme provides protected time to focus on exploring ways to build research capacity and capability within an organisation, and to develop a positive research culture. This session will provide an overview of the first cohort for the AHP programme, including rationale for the programme, the application process and Emma's experiences as an ODP on the programme to date.
