Here you should be able to find everything you need to access what we are doing for #AHPsDay. Our main focus is our virtual conference:
Derbyshire AHP conference
14th October
9am - 12:30md
Feel free register by clicking here
We are really excited by the range of speakers we have from a range of organisations and AHPs across Derbyshire.
Topics include; supporting communication difficulties, implementing competencies in dietetic services, workforce issues including flexing services to the demands of COVID, interoception and how that affects daily functioning, sensory stimulation in OPMH, PD services, setting up FCP services in physio, SLT in youth offending services and developing apprentice degree for OPDs.
There will also be an address from Suzanne Rastrick, Chief Allied Health Professions Officer.
The theme for the day is; Inspire: Celebrate: Appreciate: Connect:
We hope the conference will give you a chance to do just that, learn something that you can apply to your practise and network with colleagues.
There will be breaks to allow for opportunities to network with others. We have created Padlet’s which will allow you to network on the day with the presenters and each other.
How to get the most out of the day:
Please mute your microphone and switch off your camera as you join to help with any band width issues.
Remember to use social media to promote the day #DerbyshireAHP #AHPsDay
Ways to network: Use the chat to ask any questions, there will be a guided Q&A session at the end of each session of presentations and you can link with the presenter via Padlet in the breaks.
Look out for the opportunity #DerbyshireAHPsConnect COMING SOON, which will link you with other AHPs across Derbyshire!
Please note: we can accommodate a maximum of 300 participants at any one time within the virtual space. If we reach the maximum number you may not get access, but as people leave the conference that creates space for more to join. So make sure you log onto the call at the start of the day or try again if you find you can't get on. The conference will be recorded and available to view after the event.
