The campus placement involves simulated environments, human patient simulation/interaction and role play, enabling multiple learning objectives to be taught in a realistic clinical environment. It allows students to learn various skills and knowledge in different scenarios without intimidating students and being harmful to patients.
The Occupational Therapy campus placement is for all level four BSc students, it will take place over six weeks and will cover physical acute, community rehab, community mental health, developing foundational skills and working in an MDT with physiotherapy students.
Most weeks you will be on campus Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8:45am till 5:00pm with 45 minutes for lunch.
