The biggest misconception about utilizing tutoring services is that only students who are struggling in a course use tutoring. However, the reality is that the most successful students utilize tutoring in their study strategies on a consistent basis. Below are a list of tutoring services offered by PCC. The Tutorial and Academic Success Center (TASC) - helps students become better writers and learners by providing FREE quality tutoring services to ensure student success at Pitt Community College.
Math Center - helps students with math related topics
Writing Center - helps students with written assignments, including but not limited to, reviewing essay drafts
Science Center- helps students with science courses/topics (this is a great resource for BIO-168, BIO-169 and BIO 163)
Academic Skills Lab (ASL) - helps students experiencing academic difficulty or to develop computer skills
Tutor.com via Moodle - All PCC students have access to Tutor.com online tutoring if they need assistance between 8 p.m. and 8 a.m. To access this resource click on the Tutor.com link in your Moodle course.

5-Day Study Plan - A 5-day study plan is a study and time management strategy that effectively leverages how memory and learning work. You can use a 5-day study plan for both preparation studying and on-going studying (maintenance studying).
