Course Description
The internship course is intended to provide students with an opportunity to apply theoretical concepts from the classroom to the realities of the computer engineering profession and IT related field. The course offers students the opportunity to explore and develop their careers through professional practice in a field work of 240 hours. The structured plan of this course impacts student work-readiness through several professional development skill-building activities, including goal setting; analysis and reflection; feedback from employer; informational interviewing and debriefing their experience.
Course Learning Outcomes:
At the end of the course, the student should be able to:
1. Setup career goals, action plan for job employment and lifelong learning.
2. Demonstrate, analytical, creativity, critical thinking, problem solving and technical skills through actual work exposure in the IT industry, and other computer engineering field
3. Develop and demonstrate skills sets, attitudes and values necessary for future job employment after graduation
