The Conjuring is the first movie in the Conjuring franchise its a horror film.  The first movie introduces Ed and Lorraine Warren who are paranormal investigators. The whole movie takes place at the Perron familys house in Rhode Island where the family is experiencing paranormal activites. Desperate for help Ed and Larrain step in and ultimatley help save the family.
