History 

The horro movie The Conjuring is based on the real life experience of the perron family, who was actually being haunted in their house in Rhode island. Ed and Lorraine Warren were real people who dies in in 2006 and 2019. They were american paranormal investigators and authors who investigated thousands of hauntings and inspired the movie franchise The Conjuring. Ed and Lorrain founded the New England Society for Psychic Research in 1952. Some of their famous cases include: annabelle the haunted Raggedy Ann doll that is now in a museum that can be viewed,  The Amityville Horrir they investigated the Lutz family, The Perron family which is the haunting in Rhode Island, and the Enfeild Poltergeist which was a Britsh case.
