Welcome to our Animal of the Month feature at Fluffy Acres Petting Zoo! Each month, we celebrate one of our special animals and give you a closer look at their personality, history, and why they’re so loved by our visitors.
As of December 2024, we're excited to announce that our very own Penny the Pig is the Animal of the Month! Penny is a charming little pig with a heart as big as her snout. She has quickly become a favorite among visitors and volunteers alike for her sweet nature, adorable antics, and playful personality.
About Penny:
Penny is a mini pig, and she loves to be the center of attention! She's always ready for a good belly rub and will happily trot up to greet anyone with a friendly oink. Penny is known for her intelligence, and she’s often seen learning new tricks or playing with her fellow animals. She also has a special fondness for our staff, who spoil her with extra treats and affection.
Why Penny is Special:
Penny loves meeting new people and interacting with children of all ages.
She’s super friendly and loves getting attention (especially when belly rubs are involved!).
Penny is very social and enjoys spending time with the other animals on the farm, especially her goat friends.
Fun Fact:
Penny loves to roll in the mud, but she also has a soft spot for warm hay and cozy naps after a long day of playing and socializing with her fans.
