Questions are often linked so make sure you read all of the questions carefully • You must add DETAIL to gain the top band marks full explanations are expected • The person marking your exam will not know anything about your drama, so answer each question fully • Make sure you give reasons for your answers and don't forget to check how many marks each question is worth.
TASK 1: Choose a Question Paper and read all of the questions carefully. Make sure you are comfortable with the types of question you will have to answer in the exam.
TASK 2: Open a Sample candidate written example. Look at the answers that the candidate has given and try to work out how many marks you think they should get for their answers. When you have marked it, look at the marking commentary and see how close you were to the examiners marks.
TASK 3: Open a question paper and answer the questions for Section 1. Use the marking instructions to compare your answers to the criteria that the examiner will use to mark your paper. When you have done that, do the same for Section 2
TASK 4: Do a Random google picture search and come up with ideas for devised drama for whatever comes up. Consider the form, style and genre of the play you would create.
TASK 5: Choose any question paper and print it off. Complete the question paper and hand it in to your teacher for marking.
