There are many good books in this world and in each issue of this blog I will introduce one to you. One of my favorite book series is the Percy Jackson series. This fantasy based on Greek myths is about a 12 year old boy that discovers he is a half blood- that is, half human and half god. Over the course of the series, he has more and more adventures each more or less based on Greek myths. WARNING SPOILER AHEAD; His first adventure is when he back flipped over a Minotaur and stabbed it's own horn in its side. This is not the whole book just when he is trying to get to camp half blood in the beginning. Other book series' by Rick Riordan I will address later. If you like a good fantasy series this is probably one of the best book series you could hope for.
