Maker’s Week Monday is a day dedicated to honoring the artists of Branham High School! Submit personal artwork or nominate a fellow Bruin to be showcased by Branham. "My name is Selina and I have always been into art ever since I was a little kid. This oil painting is painted after one of my own photos of a flower that I took in Sweden, and I'm pretty proud of some of the details and color choices I made."

"this was drawn by justine dreux on procreate. she has always loved art and since quarantine has started, she’s been doing it a lot more. art helps her calm down and de stress. as a result of her drawing more, she has improved so much. the significance of this piece is that it’s her most recent, and in relation to her previous art it symbolizes growth and improvement."

"This piece was made in my iPad digitally with an Apple pencil, I really enjoy drawing digitally. This artwork was mostly drawn on a whim because I was quite bored, incidentally this is also one of the couple more realistic sketches/ drawings that I took creative liberty into crafting the face without too much references . I decided that adding color would take a little away from the sketching style so I only added a bit of color."

"I (the artist) am 14 years old, I have 2 cats and, I love art. I have been an artist for all my life and it is something I am very passionate about. I know that I am not the best artist and that's why I'm always working to get better. I hope you enjoy this piece of art that I created.
The piece is a water color painting and it's name is "Protractor" because I traced a protractor on a piece of watercolor paper over and over again to make the different spaces on the paper. I started the piece a long time ago but I did't finish it until a little while ago because I forgot about it for a long time. Even so, it's finished now and I think it's pretty good but I would love some feedback."

"I had to draw an accurate face for my art class and my teacher said we could draw anyone we wanted to, so I decided to draw my brother’s face because I’m planning to keep the drawing in the future so by the time my brother grows up a little, he could learn that anyone could learn something new if they put their minds to it. I never took any art classes until now and that’s the fact that I’m already a Junior, so it makes me very happy that I’m capable of gaining a new skill despite not having any experience. I wanted to express those thoughts in this drawing because this is honestly the best art that I have ever done in my life and I’m proud of myself for trying my best in something completely new :D"

"Me and my friends were doing a dnd and I created a character named Deer Deer (his first name and last name)who walks around in a rainbow skirt and crocs. He was a character that only lived only a week but it was very fun to play. Deer Deer was the fiance of the queen of goatlandia, Goatchella. He was like any normal person but Goatchella was a crazy assassin looking for people to kill, but they stuck together until the very end. Deer Deer was murdered from his fiance Goatchella when he tried to leave her.I am a person thats likes drawing, My Chemical Romance, sleeping, procrastinating, and Anime. I like to draw the characters in dnd's that my friends make but it more interesting to make the more extraordinary."
