What is Advanced Placement?
Advanced Placement (AP) courses offer university-level content to students in secondary school. Students in AP and AP Prep programmes study topics in greater depth, providing an opportunity for enhanced learning.
The rich course material, classroom discussion and unique assignments typical of AP courses help to develop the knowledge and the critical thinking skills in students that are university bound.
AP is recognized by post-secondary institutions in more than 30 countries worldwide, including 90% of north American colleges and universities.

What is Advanced Placement Prep?
AP Prep is an advanced series of courses for students to help begin their preparation for university. These courses are designated to be a rigorous in their preparation for the AP courses and exams in Grade 12.
The courses are intended to be challenging, but the benefits to students are well worth the extra work.

For a description of courses and samples of exams for each AP subject, please visit www.apcentral.collegeboard.com. There are over 30 AP courses in the syllabus. From this selection, Christ the King will offer the following AP Prep courses for the 2022-2023 school year.
