They say that in ancient times men and women along with plants and animals had eternal life spans. They would live and love, and live and fight yet they would live through it all. They would share their love with their grandchildren and their grandchildren's grandchildren. Life was blooming on Earth dancing through towns and forests alike, nurturing beauty in all forms. One day, it all changed when a man named Vida stopped wanting anything at all. He refused to eat. He refused to smile. He simply sat on a chair seemingly waiting; it was as if he was lost in his thoughts. Everyone wondered what he waited for. When asked, Vida would stare blankly into the eyes of the one that stood before him with an eerie smile on his face.
