“What is this, what have you done?”
Thanatos replied, “death, my friend, it brings food for my cubs and a sense of urgency for the deer.”
Vida responds, “I have traveled the world and seen all things but I never seen this before, I have never even heard of death.” He looked at the deers lifeless body and asked, “what happens to him?”
“He finally rests in peace.” The panther replied, “but it is not what happens to him now it is what death creates for him and those that tread this forest. Death brings meaning to life. Without death, there would be no urgency to grow, to love, or to change. Death is not here to end life, rather it completes life's story. Life brings color and growth, death ensures renewal and transformation. Without life, death would be meaningless. Without death, life would be stagnant. Now that you have seen what cannot be unseen, and you tread the forest among creature such as me, you must return to where you came from and spread what is death.” Vida ran back home where he sat, lost in his thoughts about his last adventure. Plotting how he would introduce such an idea to those he knew and those he loved. The twisted ideas that planted a seed in his head put an eerie smile on his face. He would introduce death to his friends with a feast of meat in honor of such a powerful transition.
