What is an Edcamp?

The Edcamp movement is all about educators coming together to discuss topics THEY are interested in, to share things they have tried in their classes, and to learn from each other! Edcamps are FREE to attend, and the power is in the conversation that occurs during, between, and after sessions.

Edcamp is an UN-conference. No "canned" or planned presentations will happen. If a PowerPoint appears, it is only to help guide and spark discussion of a topic. The main rule of Edcamp is PARTICIPATION. The organizers will set up a "skeleton" schedule, but the agenda is decided the morning of the first day...anyone can lead one of the sessions.
