A MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL ROGER DAVIS
Dear North Main Families,
I hope you all enjoyed a wonderful and well-deserved Thanksgiving break with your loved ones. November was a busy month here at North Main, and we truly appreciate your support in making it such a success. Some of our highlights included:
A fantastic book fair hosted by our PTA
Our first parent-teacher conference day
A meaningful Veterans Day presentation for our second graders from our Superintendent, Dr. Norman
A fun and well-attended Game Night, also hosted by our PTA
As we look ahead to December, we’re excited for everything this month has in store!
Winter Recess Reminder
With colder weather on the way, we want to remind families that students will continue to go outside for recess throughout the winter, weather permitting. As long as conditions are safe, we’ll bundle up and enjoy some fresh air. Please make sure your child comes to school with warm clothing such as:
A winter coat
A hat
Gloves or mittens
As we enter the holiday season, I want to take a moment to thank our entire North Main community for making this such a special place for our students and families. Your support, involvement, and partnership mean so much.
We wish you a joyful and restful holiday season filled with special moments. We look forward to the excitement of the weeks ahead and the fresh start that the new year brings.
Warm regards,
Roger Davis

The New York State Department of Education requires that all 3rd & 5th grade students and New Entrants have a physical exam. A valid physical for this school year is one performed on or after September 1st, 2024 or new entrants within 1 year prior to start date.
Additionally, per NYS law, we will be screening all 3rd, 5th grade and new entrant students' vision and hearing if not done and documented on their current physical exam and we will be screening all 5th grade female students for scoliosis if not documented on their most current physical.
