In this course students will get hands on experience in working with materials safely using a variety of hand tool as well as automated tools. Students will develop this understanding through project based learning. As students work on projects, they also learn the methods behind manufacturing items and production systems. Students will design and produce a product using modern manufacturing techniques including 3D design software and computer controlled machining (Laser cutting, vinyl cutting, 3D-Printing, and CNC machining ).
