Social Emotional Learning

MVTHS is beginning the implementation process of a new Social Emotional Learn (SEL) program, Character Strong. This program focuses on fostering the Whole Child with vertically aligned lessons that teach SEL and character side-by-side. All Freshman are receiving SEL curricula in class. Sophomore, Junior, and Senior students are receiving SEL activities during their lunch period. Each month focuses on a new character trait: commitment, patience, humility, selflessness, kindness, respect, honesty, and forgiveness.
