MVSD Early Childhood Programs
Preschool Application Information:
The Missisquoi Valley School District Early Childhood Program will begin accepting applications for the 2024/2025 school year in our school-based classrooms (Franklin, Highgate and Swanton) starting at 8:00am on March 1st, 2024. Submit this application between March 1st, 2024 and March 31st, 2024 to indicate your interest in school-based preschool programs. If there are more applications than spots, a lottery will determine placement in the program or on the waiting list. Families will be notified by April 15th, 2024 about the results of the application. **If your child currently attends preschool in a school-based classroom in Franklin, Highgate or Swanton you do not need to reapply for next year. **
Please note: Any requests for programming out of your town of residence will be automatically waitlisted until August 1, 2024. (For example: You reside in Swanton but request Highgate placement)

The Missisquoi Valley School District (MVSD) continues to build on our commitment to educate every child in a developmentally appropriate and holistic way. To expand on this commitment over the last 12 months, MVSD convened a district-wide team of educators from all member schools to create a Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 12 framework that addresses the social and emotional learning skills that every child, adolescent, and adult should obtain during their time at MVSD.
