Per state law, in accordance with RCW 28A.400, the legislature has now determined that additional safeguards are necessary in the hiring of school district employees and current substitutes to ensure the safety of Washington State's school children. Our district utilizes an electronic system to process pertinent information as quickly as possible.
Because the form requires the last 4 digits of your social security number, you will receive an email with directions and access codes after you complete initial onboarding requirements. Upon receipt of the directions, you must go online to use the ECOR (Employee Conduct Online Reporting) system.
Please complete the following within 48 hours:
read the directions; print them for your records
gather the required information about prior education employers
logon at www.ethicsdata.com
If you do not have prior school district employment, check the appropriate box; electronically sign the release form.
If you have prior school district (education) employment:
follow the directions for entering prior education employers. If you worked for a school district or other education entity in Washington State, select the district name from the drop-down menu.
when all employers are selected, you will electronically sign a release form; this form will require you also enter the last 4 digits of your social security number. Print the form for your records.
you will receive a confirmation number; the system will electronically contact your prior education employers to respond to the information requested
you may logon to the ethicsdata.com website to monitor the status of your forms; select Reports.
