In order for our Tech Department to establish your email account for your use in the district, you will need to complete the Acceptable Use Policy (AUP-link) power point. Once you view the power point, submit your name as indicated on the last slide. This will serve as notification to our Tech Department to establish an email account for you.
Your email account is usually established within three (3) business days -- typically your email address will be the first initial of your first name and full last name @mvsd320.org (example: John Smith is jsmith@mvsd320.org). The Technology Department will also set up your computer login. Contact the Technology Department HELP DESK if you have questions: (360) 428-6200 or ext. 18324 from a school phone.
Per state law, RCW 18A.400, the legislature has determined that additional safeguards are necessary in the hiring of school district employees and current substitutes to ensure the safety of Washington's school children. Our district uses Ethics Data, an electronic system to handle and process the Washington State Sexual Misconduct Disclosure Release forms. Because the program requires the last four digits of your social security number, you will receive an email from ethicsdata.com with instructions and an access code to complete this requirement (you may need to check your SPAM or Junk folder) after you have completed the initial onboarding requirements. You will receive reminders from the Personnel Office to complete this required step.
Vector Solutions K-12 training (formerly called safeSchools) provides required training for all MVSD employees. Your account is set up in either your personal email or district email account. No password required. You are asked to complete each module within 30 days of employment. Your account is set up with your personal email account address.
The following must be completed by all district employees annually; select the topics/links below:
The Mount Vernon School District uses Frontline Absence Management to simplify and streamline the process of recording and managing absences and finding substitutes. The system is available to you 24 hours/day, 7 days/week and can be accessed via internet, phone and an app.
You will receive an email from Frontline ("no-reply@frontlineed.com" ) with the Subject: Mount Vernon School District 320 has invited you to Absence Management) as well as two separate emails from Tina Ellison, Substitute Coordinator providing you access information and instructions. Set up your account and familiarize yourself with the system so that you will be prepared to access the service when needed. Helpful tutorials are also available.
You will be contacted by the Payroll & Benefits office concerning insurance, retirement and other related forms.
You will be able to access your personal financial and leave information in Skyward/Employee Access. Once you have your district email and computer access, contact Anna Hoxie (ahoxie@mvsd320.org) for Employee Access login information.
