If this is your first time registering a student with Mount Vernon School District, you may register online through Skyward.

Returning Parent/Guardian?
If you have registered a student in the past, please use your existing Skyward account.
Documents may be uploaded through Skyward or brought to the MVHS School Counseling Office.
Birth Certificate, Passport, or State-Issued ID to establish legal age and/or guardianship
Proof of Residency (such as a utility bill)
School Records: MVHS will request official records directly from your student's previous school. If you have a copy of completed courses or current classes, please bring it to your New Student Appointment.
If you are currently without a regular place to live or experiencing homelessness, enrollment documents may not be required before your student enrolls. Please ask to speak with the district's McKinney-Vento Liaison for assistance.
Once Step 1 is complete, you will be contacted to schedule a New Student Appointment.
Please review the Course Catalog and Course Planner Form for your grade.
During your appointment, your counselor will review your academic records, graduation requirements, and course options and help build your class schedule.
Schedule: MVHS has a 6-period schedule. View the Bell Schedule. Lunch A or B is based on your 4th-period teacher.
Chromebook & Logins: Students will receive information about checking out a Chromebook, completing the Chromebook Checkout Assurance Form, and accessing school email and Skyward.
Family Access: Parents/guardians will receive Skyward access to view their student's schedule, attendance, grades, and more.
School Communication: MVSD uses ParentSquare for family communication. Teachers use Canvas for assignments and class information. Canvas Parent Information
Transportation: For bus routes and times, call 360-428-6147 or visit MVSD Transportation.
Parking: Students needing a parking pass should visit the ASB Office.
Athletics: Visit MVHS Athletics for sports information.
Attendance: Report an absence at 360-428-6153, email attendance.secretary@mvsd320.org, or report an absence online.
Calendar: View the MVSD District Calendar.
A backpack, pens/pencils, highlighters, binder, notebook paper, and notebooks are good basic supplies. Teachers will let students know if additional supplies are needed.
PE: Gym clothes, athletic shoes, sweatshirt, deodorant, and a gym bag.

Parent/Guardian notify counseling office via phone or in person that they would like to withdraw their student. The information needed is as follows:
Reason for withdrawal
Withdrawal date: The withdrawal date may determine if a student receives "In Progress Grades" or final grades. Transcript/In Progress Grades will be submitted to the student's new school. (Please see below for release of transcript).
In order to release the student transcript, they must complete the following check out process:
Return all library books, Chromebook and other materials.
Pay outstanding fees and fines. (ASB Office)
