In this course you will learn how to use the video editing tool WeVideo in your classroom. You will either participate in a one hour workshop to learn the basics of getting started or you may watch the playlist of videos provided if you would like to explore on your own. In addition, you will participate in our Digital Literacy Workshop WeVideo Fall Challenge by creating a video following the challenge guidelines and sharing.

Participate in the October 10th workshop or watch the Getting Started videos on your own and the complete the WeVideo Challenge to earn 5 Clock Hours. (MVSD Certificated Staff Only) Clock hours will be recorded after you have shared your video and completed the course evaluation.

3. Participate in the WeVideo Fall Challenge: The Power of "Yet".
3. Participate in the WeVideo Fall Challenge: The Power of "Yet".
- Create a 2 -5 minute video using WeVideo Tools with the theme "The Power of Yet" You can do this on your own, with family, with friends, with your pets, with your teaching team, or even better, with students. Interpret the theme however you like. I've shared one interpretation from our friends at Sesame Street.
- Include at least one of these video features in your video. Green Screen, Voice Over, or Motion Tiles.
- You can use your own images and video, or you can use the Essentials Library in WeVideo. Be sure that you have permission to use any other video or images you might choose to use.
- Create a credits tile at the end of your video to credit any audio, image or video files you used.
- SHARE! Once completed, click on finish, title your video, include your name, and download to your Google Drive. Set your sharing to "Anyone with a link can view " and share the link with mthornburgh@mvsd320.org. (please note that we will be sharing these videos online so that everyone can celebrate with you. )

I know that video and challenges can be intimidating, but I am hoping that this will be a great way to share with your students that you too are a learner and that there is power in the word "yet". )
