Class overview
In studying these topics, 12th grade history students apply reading, writing, and speaking skills that they have been developing throughout their prior education. World History 2 focuses its content studies from approximately 1800 to the present by researching guiding ideas such as:
What are the connections between industrialization, globalization and power?
What does it mean to be part of a modern society?
How can we observe and study the social protest movements that helped make change happen across the globe?
These questions, and more, are included to stimulate student ideas for independent study and production of papers, videos and speeches to share what we know and learn.
