Class overview
This is a 12th grade elective course that combines frameworks from US Government and Politics with deep research and study on global current events that are impacting us at the time of the class. Students revisit historical documents with an emphasis on understanding their relevance and impact in the present. These studies include guiding questions such as:
What does it mean to be an informed citizen?
How involved should we each be in improving our government and society?
What actions can we take right now to improve our and each other's situations?

Unit 1: The Prison System
effective time management (readings and videos MUST be completed prior to seminar discussions and will be independently completed)
