Coping skills!
Ask your child if they know a coping skill or strategy to get back to the green zone.
It's as simple as taking a few deep breaths.
Count to 10 slowly as you press each finger together.
Be kind to someone - fill up their bucket.
Play outside.
Read a book.
Draw a picture.
Make someone laugh or do something to make you laugh.
Before you know it, you are back to the green zone.
