Longshot Solution

This project challenged students to work creatively and collaboratively to solve the problem below.

Problem #1: Longshot Solution

A group of “Longshots” believe a disastrous event that threatens the world is about to occur and must stop it. Because no one takes them seriously, it is up to the Longshots to solve the problem. To succeed they must send materials from all corners of the world using vehicles that overcome obstacles and travel simultaneously into and out of a Reaction Area. As time counts down the Longshots will use the components, including baking soda, to create a reaction that produces a very special effect and saves the day!

The story is about four scientists from the future creating a time portal to the present put the past gets sent it to and get suck to the present. In the present two people have to found a way to help the past and future people or they'll all be erased from time. But two people don't believe in the past and present and are trying to stop the from saving the world. During their misson

Mainly the vehicles were designed by everyone.The first vehicle that was built was the tank.Everyone had a lot of fun building these vehicles.

This is the tank that was built by all the team members. It is designed to actually shoot cannon balls when you pull the ring.

The past and future portals.The blue portal is what the future long shots , X'Avian,Jaden,Mario and Yanzel come out of and the red portal is the portal that the past long shots,Journee Haley and Michael came out of.

This is the backdrop of Shock-wave high school when the portals started malfunctioning after the football game.
