Digital Mass Media I develops career-ready student skills for today’s digital society. By blending English and technology skills in one co-taught course (½ credit each), students will learn communication skills across digital platforms. Students will develop short films, publish digital content for the online newspaper site, create promotional media not only for MHS/MNSD but also for local businesses, and become part of the production team for sports and entertainment events. Students will learn the elements of digital design, communication, and video/film, all useful, career-ready skills in the fields of marketing, journalism, film/video production, and social media.

Students must successfully complete the full year to be awarded credit.
