Getting Ready to Start School (TK/K). . .
ALL TK begin at 8:15am and are dismissed at 11:30am for the first eight days of school. Regular FULL-DAY schedule beings on Monday 8/22/22. Please note there are NO AM/PM sessions of TK. All students will attend 8:15am - 1:59pm on regular school days.
Class Lists available in Aeries before "Meet the Teacher" on Tuesday, August 9, 2022. Please try to sign into your Aeries Parent account to update/ verify your child's information prior to the event.
If there are any special accommodations needed (IEP/Health Issues or Allergies) for your child. Please be on the lookout for a "Welcome" email on Tuesday 8/9/22 for confirmation of Pomeroy TK placement and drop-off/ pick-up procedures
What Do I Need to Know
for the First Day of School
All Pomeroy students begin at 8:15am.
NO Supervision (kids on campus) before 8am.
Parking is limited; Park in spaces marked "visitor" parking only.
Kindergarten (only) is dismissed at 11:30am from 8/14- 8/18
TK Pick Up/ Drop Off (Map and Location) Purple lines are TK/K.
Students should be in uniform daily.
Parents are NOT allowed onto campus. Students must walk by themselves to the classroom line in the mornings.
Full day begins on Monday, August 21, 2023.
TK/K Dismissal will be at 1:20 pm on regular days.
Minimum days TK/K is dismissed at 11:30am.

Students should ALL have:
STANDARD (full-size) BACKPACK (to hold a 11X18 folder) with their NAME WRITTEN ON THE BACK- Strap Side, not visible from front for safety
WATER BOTTLE with their Name on it, please make sure your child can open/close on their own without leaking. Water fountains are NOT available.
LUNCH BAG with their name clearly labeled if they are planning on bringing their own snack/ lunch to school.
CHANGE OF CLOTHES (top/bottom/underwear/ socks) inside a ZIPLOC to keep in their backpack for emergencies.
Please LABEL ALL BELONGINGS. Many backpacks, lunch boxes, sweaters, etc. look alike. It is much easier to return lost items to students if their name is written on their belongings.
