Dear Parents and Guardians,

It is an honor and privilege to be your child's teacher. As a parent of two children, I understand the hopes and dreams--as well as concerns--that we hold for our children throughout the course of their educational experience. I am excited to partner with you in your child's education, as well as help support you in other areas, such as student organization and time management, assisting you in navigating technology, understanding your child's academic progress, and providing you with social-emotional, behavioral, and developmental resources to support your child's growth. 

My goals are to provide you and your child with consistent and clear communication, engaging lessons, and assignments that will push your child to extend their learning, get them excited about English language arts, and give them the opportunity to use their voice and talents to reach authentic audiences. My interests in curriculum development center around leveraging technology to give students opportunities to collaborate, create, and express themselves, deepen their thinking, and develop problem-solving skills needed for high school and their life beyond.
