Hosted by the Milpitas WorkAbility & Transition Partnership Program
Due to COVID-19 and schools transitioning to remote learning, our program had to cancel scheduled career fairs and on campus learning opportunities until further notice. Feel free to know more about our program and learn about careers and life skills through our website. Check out the "Featured Career Video, Skill and Ability & Life Skill" experience! Content will be updated regularly.
We encourage students and families to bookmark this page and use this as an opportunity to expand their knowledge! These showcases will include an overview of many different careers but if you'd like to dive deeper, please click the menu tab above "Additional Tools" where you will find links to some really fun career exploration tools.
As you watch the video ask yourself these important questions:
Is this career growing or declining in your area?
How hard will it be to find a job when you complete your training program?
Will you be able to get the kind of job you want in a new location?
Learn about the skills and abilities employers are looking for in job candidates.
This video includes examples of careers that require the skill or ability discussed.
