Welcome Team jOURney 7th Grade students!
My name is Ms. Chen. I am excited to spend my first year in Rancho and second year in MUSD. I’m looking forward to continuing to grow as an educator, trying new strategies, and reflecting on what works best for my students. I see this year as a chance to refine my teaching and learn alongside my students.
My educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics with a minor in Computer Science and Education, and a Master of Arts in Education with a Single Subject Teaching Credential in Mathematics. I have a total of seven years of tutoring and teaching experience in mathematics across multiple grade levels.
Aside from teaching, I enjoy reading, playing music, and traveling. My newest hobby is listening to symphony orchestras.
I would upload every week's note in Google Classroom at the end of the week for absent students and HW assigned there.
Parents could check on Aeries for student's grade and process including their missing work. It would link to Google Classroom with all graded assignments and classwork.
IXL is an online learning program that provides adaptive, skill-based math practice while also diagnosing students’ strengths and areas for growth.
