English Language Arts

Welcome Team jOURney 7th Grade students! My name is Ms. Jarvis, and I am excited to be teaching you English language arts this year on the PBL (project based learning) team. This will be my first year teaching at Rancho. I recieved a Bachelor's of Science in Nutrition and Food Science from San Jose State University, but pivoted to teaching English due to my love of reading and went on to complete my Master's of Art in Teaching.

I can't wait to get to know each of you, and look forward to helping you further develop your communication and critical thinking using reading, writing, speaking and listening skills!
