made out to Nipmuc Hall of Fame by March 5, 2020

In 2019 the Nipmuc Regional High School established the

Nipmuc Regional High School Athletics Hall of Fame.

The purpose of the Nipmuc Regional High School (NRHS) Athletic Hall of Fame is to select, recognize, and honor former student-athletes, teams, coaches, and supporters who have brought distinction to themselves and Nipmuc Regional High School through their achievement, commitment, leadership, and sportsmanship in athletics in order to connect the Mendon-Upton community and NRHS alumni with the high school’s rich athletic history.Nipmuc Regional High School opened its doors in 1960 and over the nearly six decades of athletic participation has developed a rich tradition of high school athletics. In 2018, a committee gathered to create an organization to honor that tradition. The Nipmuc Regional High School Athletic Hall of Fame is pleased to announce the inaugural Hall of Fame Class of 2020. In announcing the members of the inaugural class, Athletic Director and Hall of Fame President Christopher Schmidt stated, “The nine committee members have worked tirelessly over the last twenty months to create a hall of fame that represents the history of Nipmuc Athletics. This first class is a terrific representation of the individuals and teams who have proudly worn the Nipmuc uniform.” For more information on the induction ceremony and the hall of fame visit the NRHS Athletic Hall of Fame Website or Facebook Page. If you have any questions or are interested in joining the Athletic Hall of Fame committee please reach out to Chris Schmidt, President of the NRHS Athletic Hall of Fame, at 508-529-2138 or cschmidt@mursd.org.
