Individual - Athlete or Coach:
An athlete has graduated from Nipmuc Regional High School no less than seven years prior to consideration.
An athlete must have participated as part of Nipmuc Athletics at the varsity level for at least two years
Nominees must have distinguished themselves and brought honor to Nipmuc Regional High School through their outstanding participation in the athletic program.
They have continued to distinguish themselves and bring honor to their organizations and community through outstanding achievement and/or service.
They serve(d) as outstanding examples of the type of character, courage, leadership and well-rounded individuals who Nipmuc Regional High School seeks to develop through its athletic program.
A coach will have been involved in Nipmuc Athletics for five or more years. Coaches are eligible for induction five years after leaving the coaching position at Nipmuc Regional High School for which they were nominated or immediately after attaining the age of 60.
A coach’s eligibility will be based upon a high degree of competency and success. A coach’s teams and/or individuals may have achieved outstanding records and/or won significant championships. Candidates must have contributed toward promoting educational athletics.
Individual - Contributor:
An individual who has made significant and extraordinary contributions to support Nipmuc Regional High School Athletics and assist in the development of Nipmuc student-athletes. This individual must be widely recognized for outstanding athletic related services. This individual does not qualify for induction as an athlete or coach.
Team: A collection of student-athletes who represent Nipmuc in interscholastic competition.
Teams shall have achieved outstanding records and/or won significant championships or made significant contributions to Nipmuc Regional High School.
Teams are eligible ten years after the completion of their athletic season.
“Green and White” Award:
The Green and White Award is presented to individuals or organizations who have served as advocates for Nipmuc Regional High School Athletics or made a significant contribution to athletics in general. While the recipient is not inducted into the Nipmuc Regional High School Athletic Hall of Fame, he/she will be recognized as part of the hall of fame ceremony.
