Part One - City Planning:
Make a map of your city. Along with the buildings you decided to include, you must add a river, a highway with on/off ramps, and an airport with a runway. Buildings must be on both sides of the river.
Make a planning sketch of your map in your planning log.
Group map:
Use a yard stick and make a grid with lines 4 inches apart. Lightly sketch in your buildings. Erase and make changes as you need to for everything to fit. Add details such as trees and other indications of the spaces around the buildings. When finished, go over the pencil with a Sharpie. Choose a name for your map and label your map with the city name and the names of the buildings.
Part Two - Architecture:
Using MorphiEdu, design a model of your building for 3D printing. Use the basic forms to construct your building or use the "draw" feature to draw the building then add it to the canvas in 3D. Use the tools to change the proportions on all sides so it looks as realistic as possible.
When you've finished your design, please take a photo within the Morphi app and turn it in to Google Classroom.
