Nipmuc Regional High School is hosting an ICED Epic Challenge Convention for High School Students Nov 7-9, 2019. The theme of the conference is ‘Innovation.’
The ICED Epic Challenge convention will include time for student teams to make a short presentation about which part of the Epic Challenge they are interested in working on and will provide time to get to know each other. Students will seek inspiration in some key innovations that took place here in the Blackstone Valley region of Massachusetts, the birthplace of the industrial revolution and the invention of modern rocketry with Robert Goddard at Clark University. This time together will foster collaboration between the high schools on Epic Challenge projects.
Get US-based ICED Epic Challenge students together to form personal relationships which can turn into productive collaborations.
Inspire students to solve the problems of the future with innovations that occurred right here in Massachusetts from the past and present.
On Friday, attendees will visit Clark University in Worcester, MA and tour the Robert Goddard exhibit, Clark University campus and science department.
