About
The Murray Technology Competition is aligned with the Georgia Student Technology Competition (GaSTC) and is open to all 3rd through 12th grade students enrolled in Murray County Schools. Students may compete individually or as a team of 2.
There are multiple categories in the competition. See our Categories page for more information, including category descriptions (which mirror the State's categories) and rubrics.
Only 2 entries per grade band (Grades 3-4, Grades 5-6, Grades 7-8, Grades 9-10, Grades 11-12) in each category will be accepted from each school. Each school's media specialist and school technician will assist in narrowing down the best submissions.
Students will submit their projects online via our Submission page. The final day for submissions is December 13th, 2024 at 5:00 pm.
All first-place winners are automatically entered into the 2025 Regional Georgia Student Technology Competition. The GaSTC is the highest level of student technology competition in Georgia with over 1000 students participating each year.
