What worries you the most about today's society?
What do you think society will be like in 10 years?
What will be the most serious problems? Order them from 1 (the least serious) to 6 (the most serious):
pollution
inequality
poverty
gender violence
racism
homophobia
TASK 1. Individual task.
You have to put yourself in the shoes of someone who has suffered whatever type of discrimination. Write a page on a "virtual diary" including the following:
explain what type of discrimination you have suffered.
explain what happened to you.
explain how you felt.
explain what you would like society to do to eradicate this problem.
To write this "Virtual diary", open a Google document and share it with your teacher. The deadline to do this is Wednesday, 2nd November.
TASK 2. Group task.
Surely, if you think about it, you can come up with challenges that all of us, as a society, must face up to. To get the ball rolling, let's brainstorm ideas:
Get into groups of 4 people and compare your ideas from the WARM UP ACTIVITY. You have to decide on the 4 most serious ones FOR ALL OF YOU.
Create an interactive picture using "Genially" Your picture must explain, at least, 5 different problems. Watch the following video to learn how to create it:
