CREATING OUR AUDIO BOOKS

When learning a foreign language we need to pay special attention not only to oral skills but written skills too! I have a great idea that I would like to share with you all for World Book day.

What about working in groups, with the help of technology, as due to COVID-19 we are not allowed to do so in any other way and creating a story?

Not only will you have to create your main characters but also their physical descriptions. Names, relations, places. The full thing!

After talking all these issues in group and designing all the bits and parts of your story. Your class will choose the best among the 5 that you will all produce.

Next, with my help and guidance on Book Creator you will design your e-book. Record the audio files and insert them yourselves.

Let's see if we can share our audio books with the rest of our classmates.

Cuando aprendemos un idioma extranjero, debemos prestar atención a las 4 destrezas. Os traigo una innovadora idea. ¿Qué os parecería crear vuestros propios cuentos, en inglés, y de forma digital? Podríamos tenerlo listo para celebrar el día mundial del libro, si os parece bien.

Trabajaréis en equipo, pero de forma virtual, y gracias a la tecnología. Os encargaréis de crear vuestros personajes, describirlos, darles nombre, inventar una trama en la que se trabajen los valores y dibujar localizaciones para cada escena.

Por último, y una vez tengamos los 5 cuentos a disposición de la clase. Votaremos y elegiremos la que más nos gusta. Esa historia será la que llevaremos a Book Creator para poder, entre todos, crear un audio-book (libro digital) donde aparezcan nuestras escenas dibujadas y nuestros audios.
